Dr. Mehrdad Razaghy

Description:
In this lecture, we will review our latest biomimetic checklist and highlight the most effective uses of resin in everyday dentistry. We will summarize key points that enable practitioners to maximize their knowledge and application of additive dentistry. Topics will include our diagnostic workflow and current preventive measures, as well as the role of photography in designing anterior cases using our latest protocol, “DDD.”

We will take a deep dive into direct resin composite restorations and explore resin’s versatility—from its reliability as a medium for delivering indirect restorations, including deep margin elevation, to the use of today’s advanced printed resins for creating functional mock-ups prior to full-mouth rehabilitations.

Learning Objectives:

  • Apply the biomimetic checklist for resin in everyday procedures
  • Incorporate photography for case design
  • Understand DDD (Dentofacial Digital Diagnostics)
  • Perform additive anterior resin restorations
  • Use resin in indirect restorations (delivery medium + deep margin elevation)
  • Recognize the role of printed resin in functional and esthetic rehabilitations
